There are many types of zone defenses in football but typically there are only a few woman to woman defenses. One type is that everyone is assigned a person and they will follow them all over the field all day. The other is a loose woman to woman where everyone lines up and takes the person in front of them so every play they could be taking someone new. Either one can have a safety or not. To beat a woman to woman defense you can either run “crossing routes” or do “double moves”.

A crossing route is where two receivers run routes in which they will pass each other shoulder to shoulder.
This basically will “pick” one of the defensive players off or they will at least have to go around giving one of the receivers a step or two advantage. Usually it is the up field defender that is removed from the play. Have a receiver run an out and another an in. They can run a two step out and a three step in for example. Nine times out of ten the out will be open.

Double moves will take longer so you will need time but down out up, v-ins, v-outs, z-outs are all good double moves. A standard woman to woman play is line up two running backs and have them cross over the middle, works great in woman to woman. After several of these they run v-outs so they don’t actually cross. This is called a broken X. Of course, if you have a size advantage or a speed advantage almost all the plays in the play book work. But if you are evenly matched with the other team then run plays where the receivers make two moves or
(my preference) have them cross. Good luck.
