And now a word from our philosopher……….

Why don’t we just face the person inside of us and say hello and smile.

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child, our own two eyes.

All is a miracle.”
                                                                                                                                   –   By Thich Nhat Hanh.

Day after day, every morning when we wake up, we either wake up alone, or next to someone else: such as a spouse, a partner, or maybe just a random person we recently met. However, just before getting up out of the bed, why don’t we spare a moment just for ourselves and meditate deeply in the universe or our inner mind.

Why don’t we just face the person inside of us and say hello and smile.

Why don’t we just shake hands and transmit this warm beautiful energy to ourselves and be ready to listen to our inner soul?

Everyday we wake up, we get up quickly, have a shower, prepare breakfast, follow our regular routines and go to work or school or any place we are supposed to be, in order to be: productive, skillful and impressive.

We run to arrive on time. We start our day with so much stress and we don’t realize it.

We think about how much money and time we have been spending, then we think how we can earn enough money to spend a vacation, to have a good time, and it becomes a cycle. Over and over again, our thoughts are away from ourselves, away from our bodies. We are stuck in a material world.

Have you ever considered giving time to yourself to think of how to take care of your body and soul?

Do you know your body and soul?

The first thing …..

starts with spending time on something that can allow you to save your energy and time.
The first thing is to manage the time wisely and always spare time to prepare food with love.

Meditate or do something spiritual, then try going to work earlier than before , in order to be able to walk or drive slower, stop being in a rush,  and start to enjoy every minute or your life.

The second thing …..

is to join a sport or music club and commit to yourself to attend all the sessions no matter what

because that commitment will allow you to benefit from these social activities emotionally and spiritually.

You will learn and grow as a benefit.

Even if you look back at your life and you find that you have spent years and years of your life and you are getting older, you will never feel yourself getting older, but you will only find out that you are growing and your mind is growing, and your soul and body will develop from one state to another. You will find out yourself, that you have been also growing socially and gained contacts and friends.

Above all, what matters from the words above, is time and energy.

Spend them wisely in order to gain something more valuable than just money, which is your body, soul and the world around you.
