D-8 Certification for: Coaches, Officials & Trainers

This clinic is for women wanting to become certified in coaching flag football, or officiating flag football.  This clinic is also for women wanting to become certified IWFFA Trainers in order to travel to other countries and promote flag football. These future trainers must be able to teach how to: play, coach and officiate flag football. They must be able to manage the challenges of traveling, overcoming whatever obstacles may arise, keep a happy and strong demeanor and abide by the philosophy of the IWFFA.  IWFFA trainers must be knowledgeable, competent and demonstrate certain skills in order to be certified and accepted to travel to other countries for the IWFFA.

First hour will be a slide show and history of the IWFFA’s introduction of the sport in a variety of countries. Discussion in the importance of the IWFFA philosophy.

The second hour will be session for flag football certification in coaching and officiating in which a test will be given and demonstration of skills required.

There will be a half hour break. Last hour we conduct certification for our future Trainers.

We invite and encourage all women to join, no mat­ter what your skill level is for flag football.

D-8 ALL DAY WATER SPORTS EXCURSION

Today is the day you do it all! Para Sailing – Jet Ski – Snorkel – Waterpark – Banana boat – Lunch

Sign up your team to spend the day in the water. A Tour guide will guide you and you go at your own pace. Lunch is grilled – beer included – what more could you want?

Time: 10AM – 4PM (6 hours in the water)

D-8 SPLASH POOL PARTY –   JACUZZI – POOL – FULL BAR – FOOD – MORE

Keep the party going! We bring you a tarot card reader who will also read the palms of your hands (for free of course). A body healer (free 30 minute massages) and a card magician. Now that’s not bad for variety is it! Hang out with your team mates, soak in the hot tub and relax.

D-8 Paddle Boarding &Kayak

Go when you want to, take as long as you want to. On your own, or with a guide

Paddle thru the mangroves, jump out and swim. Boat rentals also available at Huricane Hole Marina

Location: Hurricane Hole Marina – Lazy Dog Kayak & Paddleboard rentals – 5114 Overseas Hwy

Time:  Whenever you want opens 9AM – 5PM

D-8 FINAL TOURNAMENT DINNER

This event officially ends the tournament, and it is the frosting on the cake. You’ve just had a full week of events, so much flag football, made new friends with players from other countries. What a week!

Here the food is delicious & fresh – the staff makes you feel important and caters to your needs. We tell stories of things that happened during the tournament week which no one knew about. We talk about those amazing flag football plays, and share photos with one another. You’ve got good food in your belly, stories to remember, phone numbers for your new friends, it’s a beautiful night to walk back to your hotel and it’s a great way to say good-bye to a fantastic time in your life and beautiful Key West.
