One type is that everyone is assigned a person and they will follow them all over the field all day. The other is a loose woman to woman where everyone lines up and takes the person in front of them so every play they could be taking someone new. Either one can have a safety or not. To beat a woman to woman defense you can either run "crossing routes" or do "double moves".

- [Description CU 2025](https://iwffa.com/cuba-2025/description/): Home Page Tournament Result Event Page DESCRIPTION The IWFFA travels to Cuba to give competition, food, clothing, medical supplies and flag football equipment. A team from the Key West women’s flag football league made the travel, bringing 550 pounds of goods. We practiced flag football, then ended in a Friendship game between the Morenas del Caribe vs. Cuban Juniors. Following the Friendship Game, we had awards, pizza, arm wrestling contest and karaoke contest. It was a Great time! Our goal for 2026, is to bring a team of Cubans to our Nicaragua Flag Football Tournament!
