Girl’s Registration

Since 2009, the International Women’s Flag Football Association (IWFFA) and Monroe County Schools have worked together to allow girls the opportunity to play flag football at no expense to the schools nor players.

Our program is free and offers training, equipment, uniforms and registration to the annual Kelly McGillis Classic International Girls & Women’s Flag Football Tournament.

Ages are: Girls Division 8 – 11 yrs and Juniors 12 – 15 yrs. Teenagers 16 and older can join the young ladies division and will compete in the women’s lower division during tournament play.

33rd Kelly McGillis Classic International Girls & Women’s Flag Football Championship in Key West

The tournament will be played at Wicker Field Complex which is between 14st and Kennedy Blvd. off of Flagler.

Dates for the full week of the tournament are January 21 – 27, 2025. The girls & juniors play the Saturday & Sunday or January 25 – 26, 2025 (some Key West teams will start playing on Friday January 24 after school) . Girls will have a social event on Saturday evening: GIRLS’ NIGHT OUT . Juniors will have a separate social event for their ” Juniors Night Out” . Detailed information will be forthcoming as we get closer to the event. Throughout our practices, the girls will also have: Car Washes, Dominos Fundraiser, Clean Up in Communities, etc.

Weekly Practices will be listed on our Key West Girls Flag Football Facebook Page and a text will be sent the day before practice as a reminder.

We are part of the International Women Flag football Association, a 501C-3 Non for profit organization. The girls play for free and If you have a business and would like to sponsor one of the girls teams, please do, or If you would like to make a donation for any amount, please do.

Mom, if you would like to help coach / volunteer your time please indicate that on this form. Our “Mom’s Coaching Daughters Flag Football Group” is a wonderful opportunity.

If you never coached before, or don’t know so much about the sport, we will train you to be a coach and support you all the way. Think of what it would mean for your daughter to see you on the field as a leader of the sport. It’s a unique opportunity for you to bond with your daughter as well. All the girls who have a female coach will grow up knowing they too can be a leader in the sport. Please think about coaching your own daughter’s team.
