Hjørring, Denmark      September 15 - 17, 2004

 

   Officials Clinic Fee: The price: 100 d.kr. pr person (if 10 persons come)

   Host Hotel: Hyttebyen - Acommodation costs: 65 d.kr. pr nigth (bring your own sheets, or you can rent them for 45 d.kr.)
    Food: Approximately 200 d.kr. for the weekend (more information later)

                         Official, Official: Bill Klitgaard (head ref for Scandinavia) will be in charge of the clinic

                         Officials Clinic / Rules meeting

Time: Friday the 15th of October from 7 pm until Sunday the 17th of October 2 pm (depending on the travellers schedule for departure from Norway and Sweden)

 In Scandinavia, the women must officiate themselves. During tournaments, after a player has finished her game, she is then asked to get back on the tournament field, as an official. This has so far, worked out beautifuly, with the only area of improvment to be that the player / official learn more about the game, it's rules and mechanics of officiating. That is purpose of this officials clinic, to address these concerns and to make women's flag football in Scandinavia a much better, more organized and higher quality sport.

Each team in Scandinavia has been asekd to bring two players, or representatives for their team to this training

 

Itinerary

Friday 1900 welcome

Saturday 0910 - going through all the rules (Break every hour)

1200 until 1300 lunch break

1300 - rules definition and a demonstration of how penalties are made and where on the field they are made

1500 - we all go out to do some games  F.ex. throwing flags length and precision and different games

1730 everybody is off

 

Sunday 0900 going through rules and Penalty Enforcement

Discussion: Are there any of the rules that could be changed to make a better fit to the game of flag football

1200 lunch

1300 if anybody has the time
