Pre-History, was a time when there was no written language. Where today, we can only put together a puzzle of artifacts, pictures and pieces of past civilizations to try to understand what once was a thriving group of people on this earth. Gone is the knowledge, understanding and existence of these pre-historic civilizations. Women's history, their achievements, strives and heroes who made changes in society are so important for girls and women to know and understand so that other females may be proud and inspired to follow in their footpaths and also make changes to better society. We need to identify the leaders, players, coaches, teams, leagues and supporters of our game. To acknowledge elite athletes and bring the light into our own arena so that we may offer history and future societies another piece of our existence. To document, record and bring pride among our own. Let us, the front runners set an example for future athletes and become role models to demonstrate our bonding, strife, sweat and success of making this sport flag football truly a female sport and a part of history. Our history. The IWFFA invites any and all archives of girls and women' flag football so that we may piece it's existence and preserve it's integrity. It is real.
