The Key West Women’s Flag Football Relay for Life Team – Will have sponsor sheets to donate $1.00 per hour the team walks during the relay for life event.! The KWWFFL has entered a team of our flag football players in the Relay for Life event, to try to raise as much money and support for the organization. At the field, you will see a table for Relay for Life, selling baked goods, offering educational materials and a sponsor sign up sheet for every hour our players will walk during the 24 hr relay for life event. Won’t you offer $1 per hour? A maximum of $24 to go towards the Cancer Society. Every dollar helps. Or split it with some of your team mates. We would like to thank Patsy Morrow, for helping to organize the volunteers “woman” these tables during the tournament and for soliciting us to participate in this years relay. We are also very grateful to the volunteers themselves who were willing to “man” the tables while we play flag football. |
Relay for Life – a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society - At the tournament, you will see baked goods, novelty items for sale to raise money for the relay for life fundraiser. Also, Hand Health USA products will be sold and 1/3 of every purchase goes to the relay for life – cancer society Relay For Life is a fun, team-based overnight event. Eight or more friends, family members, or coworkers can form a Relay team. Each team submits a registration or commitment fee and each member raises a minimum of $100 to support American Cancer Society research, education, advocacy, and patient service programs. Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. That means that during a Relay event you can get a sense of the wide variety of programs that the American Cancer Society offers.
